Cottage Cheese Dumplings
(this is not the recipe for the dumplings that were wrapped in pasta dough if I find that recipe I will post that here)
1 pound dry cottage cheese
8 heaping tbsp flour
4 egg
2 tbs milted butter
1/2 tsp salt
buttered bread crumbs(I'm guessing maybe a cup of day old bread crumbs toasted with butter in a cast iron pan)
Crumble cheese with fork, add beaten eggs, melted butter, salt, mix well fold in flour and mix all.
drop by spoonfuls into boiling water cook 20 minutes place on serving dish and top with buttered crumbs.
