Tortes, bars and other deliciousness!
On the same piece of paper that held the Pink Cloud Dessert, there were two other torte recipes
Rhubarb torte and Strawberry torte.

I will post more torte and bar recipes as I have time here is the Rhubarb torte:

Rhubarb Torte
Cream 1/2 cup shortening and 1/2 cup sugar add 1 egg white
and stir in 1 1/4 cups flour and 1 tbsp milk.  
Pat dough into a 6 x 10 inch pan
Cover with 3 cups fine cut rhubarb.
Beat and pour over rhubarb:
1 egg white
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt 
1 cup evaporated milk

Bake at 350°

Strawberry Torte
crust: 
1 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter 
3/4 cups chopped nuts
Mix like pie crust and put in a 9 x 13 inch pan
bake at 350° 15 minutes...cool

Filling:
24 large marshmallows
3/4 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream whipped
2(3 oz) pkgs strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 pkgs frozen strawberries

Melt marshmallows in milk. 
 Cool.
add whipped cream
place on crust and chill well
dissolve jello in boiling water
add berries
cool till thickened
pour over marshmallows
chill.
